Via our good friends over Boing Bloing, Adam Savage (of Mythbusters fame) chronicles the making of his Blade Runner replica gun.  It’s all handmade, by Adam personally, and it’s not his first try.  He did an earlier version when he was 18, then another when he was 30, but both were flawed attempts.  This time around, he had some better intel to work with (instead of simply studying a frame in an old VHS of the movie) and his replica is a lot closer to the original.  He’s certainly very proud of it.
