After watching this video of the levitating chair that is being developed by people at Japan’s Kobe Gakuin University, I couldn’t help but make fun of it. Watch it and you’ll understand.
This chair is designed to work the same way that an air hockey table does, except by the looks of the video, it doesn’t really look like it works at all. First of all, it doesn’t look like the guy sitting in the chair has any control. The demonstrator behind him, appears to just be pushing the old man around. Also, this device only works on smooth surfaces. I know that it’s just a prototype, but c’mon!
