A couple of bored British nerds named Tom Merchant-Locke and Daniel Morgan Jones had nothing to do this past Saturday, so they hatched a plan.  They got on Facebook, and they organized a flash mob at the local mall in Bristol.  The mob was supposed to arm themselves with light sabers and have it out.

Of course, these being flash mobs, it’s hard to predict the result.  However, this one turned out beautifully, with more than 100 grown adults showing up to hit each other with plastic swords in the middle of the shopping centre.  Thankfully, Tom and Daniel had the forethought to film the whole event.  It’s full of nerd on nerd violence, shoppers (irritated) trying to get through the crowd of battling geeks, and a huge throng of happy dorks, and amused passersby, all enjoying the best 60 seconds of their lives.
