Plants vs Zombies vs Your iPhone

Plants vs Zombies is a fun little game.  You probably already know this, since it was such a bit hit nearly a years ago.  Interestingly, the iPhone was really hitting its stride around that same time.  So, a year ago a very simple game came out, which would have been perfect for the iPhone, which also was all the rage at the same time.  Hmmmmm.

Developer PopCap realized, all by themselves, how perfect their game would be on the iPhone, and how much money they’d make if they ported it over.  Also, they must have known that PvZ is an incredibly simple little game, so porting it to the iPhone would really be very easy.  People wanted it, it’s an easy port, and it would make the company millions.  No brainer, right?

Well, it’s been a looooong, long time, and next week, finally, PopCap is releasing Plants vs Zombies for the iPhone.  Yes, those masters of marketing strategery and game-making savvy have completed their master plan, finally bringing PvZ to the iPhone App Store on February 15th.  Pricing is still not known, but like all other apps on the iPhone, if you wait two weeks, the price will drop by around 200%.  Since we’ve all waited eons, that’s not much longer to wait, is it?  :)
