This Summer, You Can Finally Channel Your Inner Hermione

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is notable for what it’s not.  Right now, it’s being built as we speak.  But it’s not open; it’s been delayed until spring of this year.  It’s also not really a theme park unto itself, but a part of Universal Studios theme park in Florida.  (It looks like it’s 3 rides and some shops.)  But not the Universal Studios in California.

So there you have it.  Although this is confusing as the plots of all 9 Harry Potter books (why is Voldemort trying to kill a little kid again?  Because he failed to kill him when he was an infant?   Somehow, this is because Harry’s mother loved him and, somehow, all that makes Harry a super wizard, and a viable threat to old Voldy?  Sorry, what?)

Also, there is this trailer for the park, which is supposed to premier this Sunday, during the Super Bowl.  But now, it’s premiering here, at Wandering Goblin.  Because, you know, we have an audience as big as the Super Bowl’s.
