I’ve always been fond of the whole steampunk thing. I could never tell why, but I think it’s not as complicated as I thought. It’s all about the cogs. I like cogs on everything and now I can have a cog ring.
Kinekt’s creator, Glen Liberman, has always been fascinated and inspired by small mechanisms and their complementary movements. With this interest in mind, the concept was envisioned for the Gear Ring, a product “complex enough to play with, yet simple enough to wear”.

The ring is made out of stainless steel and it actually works using six micro-precision gears that turn when the outer rim is spun.

Sadly, the ring only comes in man sizes, or, if you’re a woman with man hands, you could potentially own this beauty for about $165.00 (US). I have no idea if the designer is going to release womens sizes or if there are going to be other designs. I could imagine seeing this ring in a really nice brass finish. I’d buy!
