During our ongoing travels across the US, we’ve been constantly amazed at the roadside attractions we’ve stumbled across, usually without expending any effort on our part to seek them out.
This F4 Phantom, along with an Apache, a Huey, an APC, some artillery, and other whatnot, is part of a war memorial planted about 30 feet off of highway 50 in Colorado. The F4 is so close to the road, I thought we were being strafed.

Its an AH-1 Cobra, Vietnam Era Attack Helo, Still in service with the Marines as the AH-1 Seacobra I believe.
