Disney to journey to the ‘Black Hole’ again?

Disney camthe-black-hole-movie-postere out with a bold project in 1979, ‘The Black Hole’. It was an epic movie filled with a bad-ass red robot named Maximilian, other creepy faceless robots, and of course, a crazy ship captain.

The movie was the highest budget project of Disney at the time, and it showed. It seemed like the Disney special effects team  trapped themselves in an isolation tank for a few hours before they started their creative process.

Well, the good news is that the folks who are behind the Tron remake are also starting to try and get a project off the ground for this. The project is currently being kept secret, so there isn’t too much coming info coming out on it… But you can always watch the trailer of the original, which I’ve included below, in all it’s Technicolor glory.

It certainly is a trip, check it out below!
