I, like millions of other steampunk fans, am working on a steampunk character, complete with outfit.  The problem is, I have no skills in sewing, machining or engineering.  So, I purchase most of my pieces (it gets expensive, trust me).  I have some goggles and I’m looking at getting a ladies bowler-type chapeau and I have my character all worked out.

The hard part is finding a place to get some one-of-a-kind vintage looking costume bits.
