Torchlight, the new action RPG by the guys that created Diablo and Diablo II, launches about a month from now, on October 27th. Well today developer Runic Games revealed the newest class in the game, the Alchemist. The Alchemist joins the Vanquisher and the Destroyer in unleashing some subterranian mayhem. We can’t say we know a whole lot about the Alchemist at this point, but we do know that he’s got a lot of magic skills, and that is segways nicely with his mastery of, um, robots. Oh, watch the into video, it all makes sense somehow. 
A quick note: we got some hands-on time with Torchlight at E3, and the game flat out impresses. Keep your eye on this one.

I love the look of this game, and the fact that the Diablo dudes are working on it is a good pedigree.
