There seems to be no limitations to the actions a nerd will take to get his or her geek fix. In this case it was two ten-year old boys who decided it’d be best to rob a nine-year old girl at knife-point for her Pokemon trading cards in Sweden. Really, Sweden?

In what seems almost like a joke, the crime apparently took place on the local playground in the sandbox, based on the location we can only assume toy sand pails and miniature plastic shovels were also stolen. The boys are now serving a severe punishment in the form of counseling with Swedish Social Services, which we assume trains you in the art of neutrality during world wars.

It really is amazing that Pokemon is still causing child-hood battles to this day after it’s inception ten years ago. Pokemon may have it’s own religion soon, if it doesn’t already.
