I have mixed feelings about short films.  Many are about geeky topics, which I obviously like, and some of them are truly awesome. Unfortunately, many are glorified suckage.  Somehow, the latter seem to attract fanboys to point and say “ooooh” and “aaaaah” at a dull, unfunny bit of cinema/machinima/whatever.  I just don’t get it.

Thankfully, Veni, Vidi, Vici is a great short animation, that’s funny and extremely well done.  It’s about a wee little Roman soldier who uses his head to overcome his size disadvantage.  Check it out:
