You’ve got to give the planners of this week’s upcoming Blizzcon some credit – they put on a great gamer con, with a bit of snarky humor mixed in.  The closing ceremonies, for example, will feature a concert that every geekling will deeply enjoy: it’s L80 Elite Tauren Chieftan (Blizzard’s own in-house band, featuring company prez and founder Mike Morhaime on bass), and they’re opening for none other than Ozzy Osbourne.  Ozzy, you’ll remember, starred in a truly memorable commercial for WoW earlier this year, where he challenges Arthas as the “Prince of Darkness”.

We’ll planning to be there, as usual, covering the most interesting WoW, Starcraft, and Diablo III news bits for you all.  We’ll also probably grab some more of those ‘geek on the street’ interviews as well and, of course, we’ll dig out all the geekiest, funniest tidbits we can find.  Here’s a couple of examples from prior Blizz events:
