Ah, rumors. They are beginning to spread amongst the interwebz like wildfire as fanboi and geek alike try to calculate what Blizzard’s next move is. There are a few sources that are claiming that the new expansion will in some-way be related to the term “Catalyst” and that there will be 2 new races. However, there are some others who would still blood promise that Pandaren will be a playable race.

There is some evidence in the form of new Halloween mask textures that were added in games files in the last private test-realm patch that the two new races will be Worgen (presumably Alliance) and Goblins (Horde). There are a few different sources claiming this information, but only time will tell.
We here at the Wandering Goblin can only hope these rumors are true, because, for obvious reasons, we enjoy goblins. We’ll keep you updated but we can only assume any announcement is about 2 weeks away at Blizzcon.
