Once long, long ago… We speculated on something of a similar topic. Well, turns out it’s true! Sam Raimi, the director of the Spider-man & Evil Dead trilogies, and the recent Drag Me To Hell is going to direct the long talked about Warcraft movie. This is the most substantial news on the topic so far. Hopefully we will soon see the glory of Burce Campbell in the Warcraft Universe.
This definitely shows that Blizzard really is taking this movie thing seriously and they do not want it to be on the level of crap that Uwe Boll likes to call a video game movie. There’s no release date or any other real information other then it’s set to start filming after Spider-man 4.
It’s great to hear Sam Raimi is involved as he is… well, awesome. As long as he stays away from some of the non-sense in Spider-man 3 and we avoid anything like this;
