MORE Fallout 3 Content? Yes, Please!

Luckily for anyone that’s a fan of Fallout 3 (ie; the world) you won’t have to be bored quite yet. Right when Fallout 3 was released they announced that they’d soon have 3 downloadable content patches available for all of us. They were Operation: Anchorage, The Pitts, and Broken Steel, which raised the level cap and changed the ending of the game.

Not only are they planning on releasing 2 new DLC updates, they’re also planning on finally releasing the old ones on the PS3 Network.

Read more about the DLC, Elvis, and Alien abductions after the jump!

An arrangement must have been made, as it seemed Microsoft had it’s clutches on the DLC updates so far, making them only available via PC or XBOX 360. It really does hurt the gamers in this sense, as they have to go out and purchase the title on other consoles and/or systems only to find out it was all for naught. But I digress…

The new areas will be Point Lookout, a swamp that wasn’t destroyed by nuclear weapons and also Mothership Zeta, which will apparently lead your character through an alien abduction scenario. Yep, it’s as weird as it sounds.

We assume, most likely falsely, that most of the other human characters you bump into on the ship will be angry bumpkins kidnapped from the 21st century. Of course, Elvis now rules them and he will end up being the main boss.

Look forward to a June release for Point Lookout and July for Mothership Zeta! We’ll keep you posted as more details become available.
