The folks over at MIT have run out of anything productive to do, so they decided to create a World of Warcraft Pod. What is a WoW pod you ask? Well ask and you shall receive!

“The WOW Pod is an immersive architectural solution for the advanced WOW (World of Warcraft) player that provides and anticipates all life needs. Inside, the gamer finds him/herself comfortable seated in front of the computer screen with easy-to-reach water, pre-packaged food, and a toilet conveniently placed underneath his/her custom-built throne.”

Yes, your very own throne to provide you with the best playing experience ever. Whether it be grinding, farming, or running an instance with friends, you won’t ever need to leave the seat even to perform the most common of basic human functions. Bio breaks? No longer necessary.

You have your own food supply, as the above quote mentioned, inside the pod. The foods are named after different WoW food items, like “Crunchy Spider Surprise.” Not only does the pod supply the food, but it also cooks it for you. When the food is ready, it releases an in-game announcement as well as letting you know in real life. You are then put into AFK to give you some time to enjoy your delicious Crunchy Spider Surprise while you’re sitting on a toilet.

This brings up the age-old question of forbidden taboos. Eating while on the toilet seems like one of those things you just should not do. Well, when WoW is thrown into the mix perhaps it might be okay? We aren’t too sure, but either way… This joke of an idea that many a nerds have played with is now a reality.  Unfortunately for us, the creator at this time has just made this a piece of art and there are no plans for personal sales.

Lastly, it should be noted that the WoW Pod does NOT include synthetic women, a digital girlfriend, or an extra air supply should your house become an airless vaccum. Check out the pictures below.
