The Hunt for Gollum is a fan film, made for a staggering $3000.00. I use the term ’staggering’ simply because the film (judging from this trailer) is of a surprisingly high quality.
The film in it’s entirety is set to premier at a London sci-fi film festival this weekend, and then released to the intertubes overall on May 3rd. The makers official site can be found here, and the trailer is embedded below.
