Lyndsay Lohan, her film career sagging, and her personal life a mess after breaking up with galpal Samantha Ronson, is due to make a big comeback.  She’s been working out, hard, to achieve just the perfect look, and has reportedly been in talks with Peter Jackson to play the part of Gollum in the two upcoming Hobbit films.

Normally, we here at Wandering Goblin would dismiss this kind of thing as 1) an unfounded rumor, or 2) something we ourselves made up because we stumbled across some funny pictures.  But  we have photographic proof!  First a picture of Gollum:
