LOTR Conquest Reviewed

Our buddy Andy Alderson over at IncGamers has written up his review of Lord of the Rings: Conquest on the PS3.  LOTR: Conquest is not to be confused with LOTRO or other recent LOTR-themed games; it’s an action title, similar to the Star Wars: Battlefront series of games.  You pick a class, and you get launched straight into the action, either firing your bow, swinging your sword, or dishing out some magic.  More powerful characters (i.e., Gandalf, or the (ahem) uber-powerful Captain Pippin) are unlocked as you make progress.

We loved the game at various trade-shows this year.  We saw it as a game that would appeal to MMOers and fans of action games alike.  In fact, we thought it was one of the most promising titles on the horizon.  Andy doesn’t exactly see it that way.  Check out his review here.
