Some Reasonably Random Stuff…

Sadly, Khan is dead.  Ricardo Montalban, best known to geeks as the uber Star Trek villain Khan Noonian Singh, has passed away at age 88.

The final 10 episodes of Battlestar Galactica begin tonight on the Sci-Fi channel at 10 EST.  IMO, this has been the best sci-fi series, and among the best TV shows in general, I’ve ever seen.  Let’s hope the wrap up of the series is as good as the rest of it.  A bit more info here.

Steve Jobs is a lot sicker than we’ve been told.  It’s unknown to the public exactly what he has, but he stepping down and an interim CEO will be filling his shoes.  It’s affecting the company’s stock, largely because he’s seen as the chief innovator pushing the company forward.

Circuit City is going out of business.  I know this is a bit morbid, but if you’re planning on buying a new gaming rig, this may be your chance to pick up a bargain.

Finally, some tech support in the middle ages.  (Somehow the fact that it’s in Norwegian, just makes this better)  :)
