Deborah Taylor Tate, the FCC Commissioner appointed by the Bush administration is leaving her post for greener pastures.? If you’ll recall, she was the lady who blamed college drop-outs on a World of Warcraft addiction….not the fact that it’s just bloody expensive to go to school (at least here in the US) or that most of our jobs are also heading to greener pastures, like China and Mexico.
Deborah says, “You might find it alarming that one of the top reasons for college drop-outs in the U.S. is online gaming addiction – such as World of Warcraft – which is played by 11 million individuals worldwide.”
Now you and I both know that she has no leg to stand on, figuratively of course but I’ve never seen her legs so I’m just guessing that she’s got a set of gams.? Anyway, she’s leaving, and it’s not because she doesn’t know a hill of beans about online gaming addiction, apparently this is what happens when an old Presidential administration leaves and a new administration takes over.
