Yesterday we discovered, much to our surprise, that there are real life costumed crime fighters among us.? While their superpowers might be questionable – or completely nonexistent – their motives are purely geekarific.? According to the Superhero Registry, there are some 200 heroes battling badness on our streets.
Today, again much to our surprise, it turns out that Rolling Stone has written a feature article on two such heroes.? Ok, so they don’t live in a Fortress of Solitude (more like a run down apartment), they don’t have high tech gear (some pepper spray will do), they don’t have jobs (and eviction from their superhero lair is a possibility) and they certainly don’t have girlfriends. ? Feel free to take a gander at this write up; living as a real-life superhero is everything you’d expect it to be, and oh so much more.?
